Form, function, and elegance are home essentials.
The Laurels is a 3500 square foot residence in Sonoma, CA. The two-story wood and concrete house is the epitome of simple, modern living with clean lines, open floor plans, and oversized glass panels. The owners requested a minimalistic aesthetic, and so the work consisted of removing several partition walls to create larger asymmetrical spaces. Recycled natural materials were used as much as possible, such as polished concrete floors, reclaimed solid wood stair steps, and folded corrugated metal for the treads. The final product is a sustainable home flooded with natural daylighting and has a great connection to the outdoors.
This project is completed under Enspace in San Francisco.
